Stamp storage

I always have so many stamps, and very limited space in my craft room, so I have to come up with ingenious storage ideas (Don't tell my husband that this makes it easier for me to buy more stuff). As part of Vintage Scrap's giveaway, I'm going to demonstrate how I organise my stamps.

I have a feature wall for all my wood mounted stamps, which my husband made especially. All my other stamps I have stored in small plastic baskets, each in their own category.

These I bought from the £1 shop, making the labels with the Stampin' Up label punch.

This makes it ideal for when I need something in particular, simply take down the box I need to my work station. The categories are: steampunk, whimsical, birds and garden, cute animals, smash book, words/letters/numbers and Christmas.

My Stampin' Up stamps live in the drawer, behind my work station.

All other non-mounted stamps (my favourite ones) are temporarily stuck on empty CD cases, numbered accordingly. Samples are then pre-stamped onto blank index cards and stored into the index box.

It's nice to flick through the cards, also helps as to what I already have.

I'd like to see what you have done for your storage.

Happy crafting!
